I, personally, think that the "extraction method" is as dumb as Princeton Review's "Joe Bloggs" concept.

Agreed. I think MGMAT got lazy at the end of the SC book. Of course people don't want to have to memorize all those idioms written down in the SC book.

Honestly though grab some note cards, takes ya bout 30min to write em all and presto. Review them every night or every other night, takes ya bout 5min.

You will rarely have any more idiom troubles after doing this. Spot Extraction was such a waste.


O ya one more tip. On the front of the note cards don't write the whole idiom. For example: On front of note card write: Between X .... On Back write: ...and Y.

Another example: Determined by. On front write: Determined...
on back write: ...by.
