B/w A and C, I am going with A.

A says....If A happens, B will happen
C says.. Should A happen, B will happen.

The first structure is preferred

Picking C.
Narrowed to A and C.
In A, ' sharply rise ' should have been ' rise sharply '.

In A there is a split infinitive. It should have been continue to rise sharply.
