What am I looking for : High ranked B-school with international reputation.Since an MBA is an expensive affair, i really do not see the point of studying in universities that do not have a reputation for excellence. Nigh possibility for networking. City campus. I dont think i am cut out for finance. A career oriented program with an internship ( so i think only 2 years courses)
My origin and work experience puts me in a disadvantage, so i am aware that i need to be realistic. Could you please give your take on my profile ? Do let me know if you require further information from my end.
Also I kept scoring 720 in my GMATPrep practice tests, but came up short on test day. Do you think its worth a re-take ?
You mentioned what you don't want to do, but didn't say what you do want to do after your MBA. I really can't recommend programs unless you provide some kind of post-MBA goal. If you just want the reputable schools, just look at the rankings. They (especially US News) purport to measure reputation. You don't need me.
If you want to go to a top MBA program and feel that you can raise your GMAT to 720+, I encourage you to do so. If you were scoring 720 and more on practice exams, then you have a basis for believing that you can raise your score.
