I have an idea. We should create an admissions consulting service that is run by applicants. I feel that we are the best qualified to edit essays for others, as we're in the process of editing our own and "in the mix" so to speak.

As for applicants reviewing applications, check this:
https://mbavolunteers.weebly.com/
We are not applicants but 7 current students/alumni providing application feedback in exchange for a donation.

there was a big discussion somewhere about having someone else's themes or writing styles "creep" into your essays (thus raising the possibility of an plagarism accusation), especially early on in the writing process. Most of us here did not exchange essays for review until we've at least completed one or two applications and were pretty solid with our stories. Just a thought.
