Hi Scott and Omari,

Very quick question:

How interesting is the fact to do an Ironman competition (12-15h of sport: 4km of swiming, 180km of biking and 42km of running) for an MBA admission?

Thank you for your help,

Ben

Hello,

In short, yes, this is very interesting. But give some thought about why you do it, why it matters to you, and what you think it tells MBA admissions officers about you. That's what you'll really want to bring out in your application. Said another way, I think the fact that you compete in these events can help you in the admissions process, but simply saying, "I do ironman competitions" is less effective than being able to say, "I do ironman competitions because I love pushing myself to the point where I don't think I can finish something, and then pulling through and succeeding."

Something like that... The words need to be your own, but you see what I mean!
