Isn't |x-3|=|3-x| is always true?

My answer is D; whats the catch?

Stat 1 x not equal to 3

x=6
|6-3|=|3-6|,
X=10
|10-3|=|3-10|

x=.3
|0.3-3|=|3-0.3|
Sufficient
Stat 2
-x|x|<0 ; therefore x<0

|-4-3|=|3-(-4)|

|-5-3|=|3-(-5)|

Sufficient

hi fresinha

statement 1 is not suff
because if u take x=0 then the they are equal
x=1 then they are equal
but when x=-1 then they are not equal


statement 2 is suff
it states that x<0 so they are never equal

please correct
