Is x an odd integer?

(1) x + 3 is an even integer.
let, x+3 = 6 , x=3 (odd)
so, x must be odd integer . sufficient
(2) x/3 is an odd integer.
let, x/3=1 , x=3 = odd
so, x must be odd integer . sufficient

Brilliant method and thanks brunel. I get confused with number plugging in this even odd scenario but your method is so simple and strightforward, no more confusion ever or fear of missing out any particular number testing.
