Interesting, mid-low difficulty question in my opinion.

st.1) Price of a coat is 125 and the price of the other 6 items is 240 (365-125=240).
If we have more than one answer then this statement is not sufficient:
possible answer 1: coat price 125*7%=8,75, 2nd item's price is 110*7%=7,7, 3rd item's price is 110*7%=7,7 ; and the total price of the other 3 items is 20 (no need for taxing). Overall tax amount for 7 items is 24,15
possible answer 2: coat price 125*7%=8,75, and other each of the other 6 items price is equal to 40 (240/6=40). In this case we tax only coat and overall tax amount for 7 items is 8,75.
So we have 2 possible answer choices with one statement, that means this statment is not sufficient.

St.2) This statemnt basically repeats the same information given in the 1st statment. If the average price for 6 items other than coat is 40 (sum of 6 items 240) then the price of the coat is 125. This brings us to the same position as in the statement one. Not sufficient.

As both statements (even combined) do not provide sufficient information to find one solution the answer to this question is E.
