I am new to GMAT forum and also collecting resources.
Planning to buy kaplan GMAT but i am confused which one to buy?

Experts please help me here which one to buy?

Kaplan GMAT 2005 with CD-ROM
or
Kaplan GMAT 2006, Premier
or
Kaplan 800

Kaplan 2006 premier comes with the CD-ROM that has 3 CATs + addl. practice. You need 2006 premier if you want to do practise.

Kaplan 800 is meant only for more advanced studies, harder problems and learning specific techniques. It's not a general practice book. You would typically first do Kaplan 2006 premier and then supplement it with Kaplan 800.

KAPLAN GMAT 2005 has a CD with 4 CAT, unfortunately the same as KAPLAN 2003. Are CAT-2006 different from CAT 2005 or the same?

Are Kaplan CATs 2007 EXACTLY IDENTICAL to the ones from the 2003-2005 CDs!? I've just read something insane somewhere; that its brand new book originally called «Kaplan GMAT Premier Program, 2007 Edition w/ CD-ROM» would in fact be the SAME as the previous one (2006) except for the fresher back & front covers!!! What happened between 2005 and 2006 then? Same, maybe? Would this mean that the 2003 and 2007 CDs are the same as well??? Just wondering!

Hi all,

I've just finished my PR book and want to move on to a Kaplan one and I'm stuck. I have 2-

a. Kaplan Primier Program 2007 Ed
b. Kaplan GMAT 800 2006-2007 Ed

Which book should I go to next? I've heard some mention a third Kaplan book: "Kaplan 200x With BD". Is this the same as (a.) above or an entirely different book.

I've also read some say (a.) above is not worth spending time on...?
