You have a much different profile than many of your peer group (Indian IT male). Your gmat and academic profile is above average. However, your age will be working against you. Have you had a good experience at BP? (awards, promotions, international exposure, etc). It all depends on how you write your essays. You should not delay any further. Every year of experience will not be adding much value to your profile.
