Not sure of GPA.. Scored 71% (Class 1 with distinction throughout and top 10% of the class)
Passed all 3 levels of CFA in successive attempts. Awaiting fulfillment of Charter work-ex requirements
Certified FRM (Again passed the FRM full exam in 1st attempt)

1. 20 months in Credit Risk management for the bank's 165 Bn$ cards portfolio - Involved in developing Risk strategies using quant analytics and formulating underwriting/lending policies (North American portfolio). Exposure of presenting before senior Risk Directors to the CRO. Very strong career progression. Received maximum no. of awards among experienced professionals although being just out of college. Initiated 2 projects from scratch with over 50$ mn savings. Very strong recommendation from my senior Risk manager.
2. Current position - 6 months as equity research analyst in the bank's sell-side unit. Will complete 16 months by Fall next year. Shifted here to gain exposure in capital markets.
Working in equity strategy for Asia and Emerging Markets (Institutional investor Rank 3 team in Asia). Role involves research coverage in 18 countries, top-down macro-economic analysis, country asset allocation, investment themes and stock recommendations. Exposure to high quality macro projects and research. 1 month international exposure at JPM Malaysia - initiating equity strategy, consumer discretionary and banks coverage.
Extracurriculars - okay to decent: Led a committee at work for organizing recreational activities. Strong undergrad ECs - Head of finance and activites of the departmental association. Executive editor of the college magazine, Chief co-ordinator of business events, etc etc. Involved in dance performances since college (Contemporary, salsa, ballroom)
Post MBA goals- Short term: Opportunities in Financial Risk management (Buy side firms, banks or consultancies with a strong focus in emerging Asia)
Long term: Leadership roles in the BFS sector.
Target schools (Considering the current economic scenario, my idea is to go to a top US school or not go at all)

Wharton and probably
Chicagoare stretch programs. You have a competitive profile for the other schools on your list. You may also want to consider
Yale and
Cornell.
