Hi Linda:
I am new to the boards and I am working on my applications for the 1st round for the MBA class entering in fall 2006.
I am applying to Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan, Chicago GSB Weekend MBA and possibly Wharton.
I had posted an initial draft which I pulled and I am now reposting again after clarifying some thoughts to myself.
I have posted a sketch of my profile below.
I would appreciate some advice on what I should strengthen and how I should strengthen the weakest part(s) of my profile.
I would also appreciate feedback on how my profile looks for admission and financial aid as outlined above.
Thanks in advance and kind regards.

MBA Goals:
In the second half of 2008, I am leaving to work in Kenya, East Africa (my country of origin) mainly in the IT area with general management responsibilities for a private business firm, an NGO and my own IT and Civil Engineering companies in collaboration with my father’s architectural firm.
I am also involved and, in 2008, will be even more involved in the political process in Kenya especially through the Kenyan Ministry of Trade and Industry.
This involvement is increasingly focused on business, general management and information technology with the goal of improving the overall economy of Kenya.
You are applying appropriately, although I think you should definitely also apply to Wharton and consider Stanford, Columbia, and Kellogg.
Good luck!
