I just took GMAT test today (2nd time). The total score is 530 (Q49 V15). I don't think I improve much from the 1st time (Q44 V14). In my 2nd test, I think I did better time management in Math (I managed to finish all questions with guessing around 2-3 questions). However, for verbal, I did wrong in the following:
- poor time management: I could get through only 1 RC (I already found this RC in GMATPrep but I didn't pay much attention on it => so unbelievable !!!) and a few of CR
- Read and analyze RC/CR in a slow manner
I plan to take the test again early Feb. My goal score is around 600. How can I increase my score during the short time? Please advise. The folllowing is what I have done for the preparation of 2nd GMAT test,
- I practiced and reviewed
OG questions again (after I have done most of them in my 1st preparation)
- CD (PP, GMATPrep, Kaplan, PR)
- Book (Kaplan, PR)
In addition, I have to develop my essays during this time (my working experience is around 9 years). So which one (between GMAT prep and essays) should I put higher priority? Can I do both of them at the same time? I want to make everything complete for the 3rd round application.
