IMO B

through B we can find that total no of cups is 46 as total of ratio's(i.e 15+5+2+1=23) is 23 and no of cups for y is 4, therefore 2/23x no of cups = 4, this will give no of cups as 46 and then we can find no of cups for X

IMO B

With statement two, statement 1 is automatically implied, i.e. she needs 10 cup of X.

If we look at the original condition, we know that there are 2 variables (x and y). In order to match the number of variables to the number of equations, we need 2 equations. Since the condition 1) and the condition 2) each has 1 equation, there is high chance that C is the correct answer. However, as the condition 2) has 2 equations, the condition is sufficient. So, the correct answer is B.

The answer is B,
The question is basically asking ration between substance X and substance Y.
Statement 1 is clearly insufficient as it only gives information about substance X.
Statement 2 is sufficient as it gives ratio of substance to prepare the pie.
