Music director: “Members of our musical groups included, for, the fall session, 80 marching band players and 40 concert band players; for the winter session, 20 chamber musicians and 40 soloists; for the spring season, 50 orchestra musicians and 20 musical theater performers. Each musician participates in his or her group five days a week for the whole three month session, and no musician plays two instruments during any one session. Therefore, adding these figures, we find that our music program serves 250 different individual musicians.
In drawing the conclusion above, the music director fails to consider the relevant possibility that
(A) musicians can play in more than one group in a single session (B) musicians can play in different groups in different sessions (C) some of the groups require a larger number of musicians than others (D) more musicians participate in music during one session than during another (E) a musician might not participate in every one of the practice sessions or concerts for his or her instrument

I narrowed it down to A and B, but am curious why would one pick B over A? Isn't this virtually the same answer because it doesn't say anything about instruments, it just says musicians. If a musician can play in more than one group in a session, they could serve in the marching band and concert band, so why would it be A over B or B over A?

+1 B. I also have the same doubt. A also seems correct; however, B is much clearer.
