As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate.

MY RESPONSETechnology has an incomparable contribution in humans’ progression and should definitively be encouraged through society as it broadens the ability of humans to think of themselves.
Relying on technology has always been an advantage in the human history. Thanks to technology innovations we are now able to face and resolve problems that were previously unapproachable. This is obviously the case for medical’s progression; just think of fatal illnesses like the TBC or other infection bacteria that were responsible for people struggling and suffering in the past centuries. We have now easy to use medical solutions that have rapidly eradicated these phenomena. As a consequence, people ‘life has got longer and safer.
Furthermore, as technology has become even more a constant part of everyone’s day life, it is easily recognizable that our productivity has undoubtedly risen. This is true not only for what concerns our jobs, but has also a direct impact in everything we do for our disparate purposes. In general, we are now able to do more, in less time. This capability is now referred to as multi-task management and is thought of as a particular attitude for gifted people but actually, it could be traced back to technology. In addition, people ‘ability to think will expand not deteriorate. To give an example, just think how children are now easily inclined to learning new languages and software applications and how can they quickly do that. This is also due to technology that broadens our horizons to an infinite variety of resources. A website like Wikipedia has brought a considerable contribution in human general knowledge making almost everything ‘s meaning accessible for nearly everyone has an access to the Internet.
Of course, we do know that the conditions for using technology are not the same for everyone on this planet but they are improving also in those poor and less industrialized countries.
However, one of the controversial aspects about this issue is that technology has changed the way people, especially young people, interact. Many suggest that this is not a good sign as an ever-growing part of children has now its life belonging to social network and surfing the net. Perhaps our parents would like to still see us running down a street with a football ball in the hands, but I think this has not disappeared. In fact, how children decide to interact with one another is till due to their individual attitudes and preferences: technology has only enlarged the options, not the scope.
To conclude, I firmly believe that the benefits of technology, in every dimension as listed above, clearly offset its disadvantages, if any, and the use of innovation should be always encouraged and emphasized in our lives.
Many Thanks!!!
