You think okc will take down the mavs?

oh yeah dude. definitely. mavs will definitely not win championship out there for sure. wayyy too many talented other teams this year. sorry, to burst your hope bubble but the mavs are going home this year empty-handed :-D

What's that again, jetty? What's that again? :P

they haven't won yet homeboy :-D it ain't over till the fat lady sings.

Lakers just acquired Mike Brown as head coach. A lot of criticism from the Lakers community. But everyone knows that's going to be expected especially when you're going to have to fill the shoes of a head coach like Phil Jackson. I think we are in for another golden dynasty of the Lakers next season ladies and gents.

Ok, so maybe the Mavs won against the Thunder. But they surely won't win against the Heat. Bosh on fire, Wade is killin' it, and Lebron is holding down the fort down low. End of story :)

i guess only time will tell. Heat's a great team, obviously and lebron has a reputation to uphold. A lot of it is on the line. Heat's going to play bulls tonight and I have a feeling heat's going to take it away from the bulls tonight, a done deal. Mavericks got an extremely well-rounded team right now and not to mention the momentum of dirk. We'll see...

What an epic fail for the bulls. A 10-point lead down to a 3-point loss. What a shame.

It reminded me of Dirk took away the 16 point lead from lakers and the 15 point lead from the OKC (that was just last night's game). I think several of these young players, whether it's westbrook, durant, or d-rose, need to contemplate about what had happened in the series. Was it simply immaturity? Hot-headness? I'm sure there's lot to absorb and learn.

But let's not take away the joy for the conference champs! Mavericks and Heat! It was only 5 (or 6?) years ago that they met when the heat took it home in a 6-game series. Now with the unbelievable bosh and lebron joining the heat, playing against the awesome mavericks with some very talented player, it's going to be fun!!!

derek rose is still a young buck. he has to learn to control his emotions. you saw how when he was shooting those critical free-throws how nervous and anxious he was. that's called young and inexperienced. and the next possession you saw how bosh handled it - in a professional manner. when the game comes down to the wire like this, experience is everything.

Rose is definitely still young. At that last cruicial 2 free throws, bulls desperately needed both. Kobe would've made both and you mentioned, bosh did. I think rose will also need to go back and watch what he has been doing.

During the regular season, his "juke" moves would've been sufficient because he's playing with teams that are probably not as good and well-rounded as the bulls. But once you get into the playoffs, every coach who's going to play against rose knows that he's going to do some juke moves, get into the paint and do a fingerroll or a layup. However, rose continued in that behavior deep through the playoff and just look at how many blocks he got because the centers and forwards in the paint from the other team knew what he was going to do. Sure, the moves are beautiful and swift, but the scoreboard matters more. Right now, it seems to me that he's wanting or been asked to play the two guard position, but he's doing mediocre on both end of that spectrum during the playoff. Dwayne Wade, Chris Paul, and of course, Kobe Bryant are good people that rose can learn from.

i agree with you. rose needs to more tricks up his sleeve. but shoot, he's like what...22 or 23? he's got a long time to go in the NBA. his drive and then pop the ball back to a shooter at the 3 line was seriously seriously one of the most obvious plays i've ever seen. i think if he widens his playing field, it wouldn't only help him play better, but give his team more versatility.

and i don't like boozer's high arching shots. it's retarded to put it clean and simple lol.

To me, Boozer is very much like ron artest. He could potentially be a threat to the other team, but inconsistent most of the time.

Jan-March is more in the mid-season timeframe. I think the game starts in October(?) and then April is the timeframe that NBA playoff starts. So January would be mid-season while March is more like the end of the seaon before playoff.

yeah it starts in October. And ends towards the end of April/beginning of June. Only a few months of off-season though I never believe in off-seasons.

Miami Heat is going to take it all the way homies

jetty, lebron and dirk, you think lebron can take him? I think it'll be an even split between the two.
