Hello,

I am a Control Systems engineer and have been working in a core engineering job for past 14 months. I look forward to a career change in Finance/Analytics domain. Hence I am willing to apply for MBA this year itself in spite the fact that minimum 2 yrs of work ex is required for most of the good B-schools. Imbalanced score( High in quant and low in verbal, all 4 sections) adds to my concern.

I would like to mention I have always excelled in my school as well as graduation. So grades are not an issue. Plus, I have done a lot of NGO work since past 5 years. I would add, I have done alot of Extracurricular work in my college as well as at job.

Experts, could you please help me shortlist 5 B-schools I should apply to considering all of the above points?
I am also interested in MS Financial Mathematics. Will a different background and irrelevant experience make it a weak option?

Thanks in anticipation.
