Need to Conquer CR

Hi Guys,
I am one of those unfortunate souls who are struggling with verbal preparation.
When i began my preparation, I was equally weak in all areas of verbal. So i targeted SC first and slowly i came to grips with it. I am not perfect there but i am able to recognize mistakes and eliminate wrong answers and improve my accuracy (see my progress below). When it comes to CR I am not sure what i am doing wrong. In the mgmat tests/grockit tests iam able to narrow it down to last 2 answers *always*, but most of the time i am selecting the wrong answer
Not sure where to go from here. I am thinking of buying CR bible and go through basic strategies one more time. And for practice thinking of using "The Official LSAT SuperPrep" .
And oh yeah ... my exam is on 27th Oct. Any ideas/suggestions???
--Ravi
Here is what i have to done so far: -------------------------- 1. OG Verbal review: CR questions 2. Reviewed stratagies from MGMAT Critical reasoning book 3. Took 3 actual GMAT tests. And my verbal scores are: GMAT prep1: 27; CR 50% accuracy MGMAT1: 28: CR 50% accuracy MGMAT2: 33 CR: 50% accuracy GROCKIT test1: 35: CR: 55% accuracy

Hi Sonuchandra,
Yes Grab a copy of Power score CR Bible . Go through it and brush up your weak CR fundamentals
Enroll e-gmat CR Course, not very expensive. It compliments power score book. It also helps you in tuning your though process in applying the concepts you have learned. It gives valuable 200 + Gmat like practice
Also Solve OG 12 problems next. Say do as many as possible in 2 hours. Mark your answers in an error log. See the answers you got wrong. Review their. solutions. The next day start with doing all problems you got wrong or felt hard in first hour .You already reviewed them the previous day, so get them all correct this time ) . Next two hours do as many as possible from OG again and mark your answers in an error log. Review your answers and re-do them the next day.

I forgot to mention, if you are done with OG 12 and need extra practice at an advanced level , download the free LSAT101 CR set from Aristotle prep. You can use the forum to find their explanations.

Hey Ravi,
I totally understand your situation and I was in the same page a month back. I picked "Power score CR Bible" and finished it wing-to-wing 2 times. I'm feeling better now and my confidence in CR is pretty good. I still have to impliment the strategy i've learnt from CR Bible but i'm very confident now.
My SC/ CR looks good now and I only need tons of practice. Hope i'll be able to achieve 90%- 95% accuracy. How are you approaching RC? any specific strategy?
Cheers, Aj.

@hoogly - Need one assistance regarding CR. I've finished the below material - 1. OG12 ~ 84CR 2. LSAT101 CR Aristotle prep - 101CR 3. CR Bible - Not much. 4. MGMAT CR. - Not much.
Can you suggest some reliable CR material which I can use for practice? I've exausted most of the above material and need new materials to do some brain work. Can you help?

Kudos
Ajay,
power score CR Bible is good for concepts but not much practice.
If you need more practice , 1. Do CR from OG 11 ( I can post you the non overlapping CR Sets bet OG 12 and OG 11 , let me know.) 2. Take up E-gmat course , just 50 $ goof theory brushing up including bold faced questions and 200 gmat like CR problems practice. 3. The best thing , use gmat club tags. Including some tags below for you : viewforumtags.php
This is the best feature of Gmat Club, solve the questions on the forum . They have a inbuilt timer and OA. when you click on timer , start the question and complete and stop it, The questions are noted in your workbook automatically which you can use for review. I used this method for extra practice. !! Oohaa Kudos for gmat club for putting such a option in place.

@hoogly - Dude, what you suggest about "SC-E-gmat course"? Do you recommend me to take that one as well? I've finished MGMATSC & Aristotal SC and my accuracy is already 85-90%. What you think?
Thanks in Advance, Aj.
