New GMATPrep Software Error [#permalink]

Hi all,
I'm not sure if anyone has experienced similar situation with me.
I finished my CAT exam on the new GMATPrep software, but the score messed up.
I got the score of 6 in my quant part, and 35 for my verbal part.
Verbal does not seem to be the problem, but for quant part I got 11 incorrect answeres so that can't be right for sure.
Anyone experiencing same problem?

Kishore I'm really sorry to say that you can not review your mistakes after you quit (GMAT prep v2.0) . However, you can review if you use the old version (v1.0)

I haven't tested it yet but it seems that the IR portion scoring is messed up too. mgmat-s-gmatprep-2-0-review-errors-discovered-130236.html#p1070132They probably going to have a patch issued and ask people to download the app again.

Yes, this is the second error that I've heard of (including the IR error). I'm sure that GMAC is getting many complaints, and is diligently working to fix the issue. My suggestions is to stay away from their testing platform for atleast a few days, and maybe a week or two until they are able to resolve these issues. You do not want to waste your time and not see what score you've earned.

Just found this thread now. I got a 6 as well and just freaked out. I had slightly more wrong than you, I was at 15, but STILL. Good to know I'm not the only one.

Hi,
This is my first post. I started my prep by downloading the new GMAT prep on 13th of April.
Here are my scores:
Test 1: 530, Q 37, V 26, IR - 1/8 -> Answered 9 correctly out of 12 in the IR section and have a score of 1
Test 2: 670, Q 47, V 35, IR - 7/8 -> Answered 7 correctly out of 12 in the IR section and have a score of 7.
Both the tests have the same set of IR questions albeit ordered differently. The section is not adaptive. I have my doubts on the latest version of GMAT prep owing to the weird scoring pattern on the IR.
Having said that, I have a long way to go for a 750+ score. Wish me luck!!

Jenny Hi jennyv, feels very good to see that others are having the same issues as I do. In the old Gmat Prep as well as MGMAT CATs I have consistently been scoring about 43 to 44 in Q based on 11-13 wrong answers. Now I got a 38 based on 13 wrong questions (all quite spread out). Quite a huge difference. So I stopped relying on the new Gmat Prep for CAT exercise. I use the old version instead. The new one is good for practicing questions from the additional question pack though.

I have downloaded the GMAT Prep 2.1. When I set the Verbal practice questions in random mode, the RC questions for the same passage are not group together. How do I fix this problem?
Also, does anybody still have problems reviewing the practice exam?
Have they fix the scoring for the practice exam?

However, you can review if you use the old version (v1.0) So, are you sayin, after seeing the score window when I reach the overall performance window, i can't escape or exit, without reviewing the test, from it and if i do i can't go back to review?
