Congrats! The Powerscore CR Bible is indeed a powerful tool. It's probably my favorite GMAT guidebook.

Test makers don't want anyone to have an advantage due to prior knowledge or the ability to relate to every question. In fact, such an approach probably distracts test takers from what they are supposed to do: look for causal relationships and stay within scope. The skills and approach that you acquire from reading the Powerscore CR Bible will work regardless of the subject matter.

That is the gap that was filled I am an accountant as I said and very X's and O's oriented, and my bible was GAAP which was very clear and straightforward.

Still have a couple topics that I need to master, but Strengthen/Weaken/and a few others I have mastered. Still need to work on Assumption type questions. The methods of reasoning was AWESOME in the bible!

Leave everything you know about the real world BEHIND when you attack CR. Go SOLELY on the info given in the question. If you bring in your own oppinions, thoughts, and ideas they will surely trick you into the wrong answer. This is a big step for people to overcome and will definitely earn you a few extra problems on test day. GOOD WORK
