Along with Kaplan, I am using the GMAT review 13th Edition.

How indicative of your progress are the Kaplan CAT exams?

I am finding that the tests and my final scores are way lower than with my other prep materials. Is this common?

Please advise.

Thanks.

Hi BudFox,

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your scores! Kaplan tests are an accurate measure of your progress, but swingy test-scores are a part of many students' experience. If your scores on the Kaplan material were much lower than on other materials, it's worth asking if you were using different strategies, studying in a different location, or up at a different time in a way that could explain the score discrepancy. If you figure that our, you might find a key to maximizing your score on Test Day!

Hope this helps,
