I really could use some advice. In May of this year I took the GMAT, only after one week of studying and got a 300. I feel really embrarrassed because everyone on here is hoping for a 600+ when all I need is a min. of 450 and I can't even get that. My scores from May are as follows....
Verbal 15/8%
Quant 14/4%
AWA 5.0/57%
I took a practice test a few days ago and got a 250. I just purchased the Novermber 17 at 2:00 pm for a retake but feel it maybe too late to get to at least the min. I know I am very rusty, but do you think I have a chance to get at least the min? I have at least 3 and a half weeks until I retake but I really don't know where to start. I took the GMATFocus for the Quantitative and know that my problem solving, real and applied, and arithmetic are weak areas and I haven't even really looked at the verbal. Any advice would be appreciated.
sorry about your previous score. But looking at your previous score and current mock test performance, I feel that probably you are rushing into the retake. Not sure, if there is any special reason behind that, but if i were to advise i'd strongly advise against going for it so soon.
In my opinion what you need at present is a thourough understanding of basics and concepts and loads of practice and with these you surely can reach way above 600, let alone your target of 450.
