Hi everyone,
I am in desperate need of advice... I have been studying for the last 3+ months and my score seems to be getting worse every time I take a practice test. I studied according to the plan from this site - first month quantitative, second month verbal, and third month I devoted to just doing questions. I have read and completed all the
MGMAT books,
OG 12th, and Kaplan Premier 2012-2013. My first practice exam that I took from Kaplan gave me a score of 580 (and I totally bombed this test too - guessed on a lot of questions, was freaking out because of the clock, and felt that I wasn't prepared at all). I took the free
MGMAT test and scored 590, but this time I felt totally calm during the test and felt more confident in the answering the questions (I was really bummed that I got a worse score after feeling much more prepared). I then took Kaplan two more times and got 570 and 550. On the last test I missed 7 questions so that probably dropped my score considerably. Looking at each section, my quant % correct has remained constant, my critical reasoning has gotten worse, sentence correction has gotten better and reading comprehension has remained constant.
These last two weeks have been extremely frustrating because I feel so much more prepared than the first time I took the test, but my scores get worse each time. I feel like I have exhausted my brain and as I continue to practice I just try and squeeze info out of an immensely tired brain. I know I have the potential of scoring a 700, but I am very pessimistic of that happening this go-around.
My question to all of you is what I should do for the remaining few days? Should I just rest my brain and save my power for test day? And if I still don't score very well, what courses are available to help those that (obviously) can't learn the strategies on their own?
