hey marco, sent you a PM earlier but i wanted to post on here for all the fellow low GPAers. there is hope!

my stats:
gpa-2.8 from UT-Austin (economics and philosophy)
gmat-700
3 yrs work exp (us senate)

applied in early december to:
UT-Austin: denied
USC: accepted w/ $$$
Vanderbilt: denied
Wake Forest: accepted w/ SSS
UNC-CH: still waiting..... haven't been invited to interview so probably a no

Juangalt - I'm assuming UNC-CH means Kenan-Flagler? They don't do interview invites, they interview every candidate. Applicants are supposed to self-initiate interviews.

Really? well another problem is that they haven't updated my application on the website. all my items were sent over 2 months ago and they confirmed they had everything a month ago via email. They said my application is complete but never mentioned anything about interviews or scheduling one myself. is this on the website somewhere?

dealing with them has been pretty annoying.... they take a long time to respond to emails and don't seem to update their app website. two of my recommendations were mailed-in hard copies instead of the online form and it seems like that has caused a HUGE delay. when i ask a question i just get a vague response and the tone is like i'm annoying them. i havent had this problem with any other school and compared to other admissions offices they've been to least responsive by far.
