If a DS problem speaks about "positive integers", can zero be considered one?

Another question (not tested on the GMAT) often asked - is zero odd or even?

I know 0 is between two odd numbers and hence is even... I guess we can even say that 0 is a multiple of 2 and hence is even...

Yes. Integers are defined as: all negative natural numbers \(\{...,-4, -3, -2, -1\}\), zero \(\{0\}\), and positive natural numbers \(\{1, 2, 3, 4, ...\}\).
