Too old for a PhD? One-year MBA?

hi
My name is V. I am looking to do one of the following: (Not yet decided - evaluating my options)
1. A PhD from a Top 20 institute (Statistics / Finance / Entrepreneurship)
2. A one-year MBA - one of the Top 5 one-year programs (Insead, IMD, etc.)
3. A one-year Masters in Finance - one of the Top 5 programs
I took the GMAT 6 years ago and scored 740. I am planning to take it again in July 2013. I am pretty confident of getting 740+.
I have a 3.8+ GPA from my undergrad (Top 5 univ in India) and 3.5+ GPA in my MBA (Top 2 institute in India).
I have also cleared all three levels of the CFA exam.
My main challenge is I that I am 38 and I have 14 years of work experience, primarily in early stage companies.
I have worked in the US for 8 years and have spent another 6 years in India running my own company.
My questions are:
- Am I too old for a PhD? (the sense I am getting is "No" - that these programs won't have a problem with my age as long as I am clear about what I want)
- Am I too old for a 1-year MBA program? (the sense I am getting is "Yes" after reviewing the class profiles of the programs)
Any relevant advice would be appreciated:)
V
