1. Age and Work Experience: Seems in line
2. Acads: School is very good, GPA is decent.
3. GMAT score: 720 is decent.

I would give you a 60%+ plus chance to get into one of the Top 10 schools and a 90%+ chance to get into one of the Top 20 schools.

With my background, would schools be okay if I took the GRE instead?

For an MBA, most schools require you to take a GMAT. GRE is not an option.
