Hi all
Just took the GMAT and scored a miserable 450 with Q 39(46%) and V 14(8%?)
Still can not believe the 8% !
I have to retake it again in August and score the 650 to attend the school in September!
Is the Q 39 is good enough if I improve my V to get the 650? Otherwise what do I need to do on the Q to achieve the 650?
Any advice is highly appreciated.
Well, I too am in almost the same situation as you are in. I have taken the test twice and have scored pathetically low - in low 500s. I have surely understood one thing that we are not morons who cannot apply the concepts when we are required to. Don't we know the formula of area of a triangle? Don't we know number systems? We DO KNOW! The only problem is with the strategy and attitude that we are carrying with ourselves. Also, cramming the concepts does not really help in this exam. We have to change a lot!
Do identify your weak areas, the strategy that you used to solve the questions, the methodology that you used to study and attack the questions, and finally the attitude!
May God bless us and show the path to us. We are determined to defeat this devil and if God says that He helps those who help themselves, then we are helping ourselves.
Do always keep in mind that this exam tests your ability to not to choose the correct option but to eliminate the incorrect options.
