Congratulations on the huge increase in GMAT score.
You are probably too late for most R2 deadlines, but you have time for R3 (and for some schools R4).
If you are mainly interested in US programs, I suggest exploring schools where the 670 is at or slightly above average, to factor in the “
over-represented Indian in IT” reality. So schools on the level of University of Georgia’s Terry, Boston College’s Carroll School, or SMU’s Cox would be examples of on-pars, and an example of
reasonable reaches would be Notre Dame’s Mendoza. Canadian programs tend to be less GMAT-obsessed, and top programs there such as Rotman and Schulich would be good to consider as well.
I don't know the details of the scholarship opportunities, but usually, when you are admitted to a program that is somewhat less competitive for your profile (i.e., that is a safety or on-par for you and you are
their reach), you have better chances of scholarships.
