Hi guys,

I have a 2.9 GPA and am looking to take a couple extra classes to help offset my low grades.

Does it matter if I enroll in a non-credit course or an online course as opposed to a class for credit? Are all of these class formats viewed equally?

Also, which specific courses should I take? I am looking at the the https://www.scps.nyu.edu/ website and there are so many courses to choose from... for example: Finance/Math Statistics, Fundamentals of Corporate Finance, Finance for Non-Finance Professionals, Macroeconomic Principles in Finance... you catch my drift.

Which ones should I take?

Based on my transcript, I think that I want to take one in Finance/Accounting and one in Calculus, so it would be amazing if someone could give me examples of specific courses which would be best received by AdComs.

Are you doing the courses purely to offset your GPA, or is there another reason?

Also...what's your GMAT? And when did you do your undergrad?

How did you fare in quant related courses in your undergrad? What subject did you do your undergrad in ?

How much did you score on GMAT?

From what I know admissions prefer for credit classes that can be verified via transcript. Good courses to take if you do not already have an "A" in them below:

-Calculus
-Micro Economics
-Intro to Statistics
-Financial Accounting
