Correctly, “literally” should be used when a turn of phrase usually employed in a metaphorical sense enjoys a rare moment of non-metaphorical applicability: the phrase becomes true in a literal, words-meaning-exactly-what-they-say sense.

i think you're raising a grammar issue for no reason. and it's not even an issue. I still do not understand why you're calling it out. most grammar nazi's call it out when it's used as a hyperbole. but not it's not in this case.

At this point, with 9 hours to go, whether it's a ding or an invite, the decision has already been made. They are probably just uploading the results now.

Keep in mind that the interview invites did not come out exactly at 12:00 last week. Some people received their invites at 12:02 and some even at 12:20.

To everyone, regardless of your individual outcomes, congrats on having the courage to give it all you got. You're all awesome dudes and dudettes IMO.
