Deferred to Round 2....unexpected result, fully thought a ding was coming.

Honestly, hope it winds up being irrelevant. Harvard was lower on my personal "fit" estimation, and my remaining R1 schools are all a higher priority for me. But, we shall see what happens.

I'm new to GMAT prep. Still anxiously awaiting word from HBS. How do I tell if I got an interview? When I log in, my app status is still 'submitted'... Thanks!

deferred here as well with the full expectation of getting a ding, so regardless of final outcome i'm happy in the meantime

HBS is such a crapshoot for everyone, to all dinged know there is no doubt that you are still all incredible people with immense amounts to offer!

I didn't get an email, I logged into my account and still said Submitted, but then opened my application there were news, which said I was dinged.. Good Luck

Thanks. I'm dinged. GMAT was 760 and I had a 4.0 with great work experience and community involvement. Pretty bummed.

This is brutal. Nothing on app screen (still just says submitted, even in details), no email...I'm guessing that's probably a wait list but the suspense (again) is killing me.

UPDATE: Deferred. Which, for me, is brutal, as this is a top choice for me. More waiting! I would feel so much better if I could just get interviewed....

Open your application if all you're seeing is the 'submitted' status. Once you open the app, you'll see a notification for an update to your app.

That's pretty f up buddy, it really sucks that they don't provide feedback when you feel you're a strong candidate..but listen you'll get into every other school you're fine
