FROM Ross (Michigan) Admissions Blog by Soojin Kwon:It's July??
Some lovely ladies of Ross at the annual Forte conference in Los Angeles. How is it July already? The summer is going by too fast and, while I am excited to begin a new season of recruiting, I have hardly recovered from the whirlwind of the 2013-2014 season. June was jam-packed with travel to connect with incoming, current and former Rossers around the country: from Austin for the Consortium Orientation Program where the Ross team welcomed our more than 40 incoming Consortium students, followed by Los Angeles for the Forte Annual conference where incoming and current MBA women attended career...

Essay questions analysed
To help folks get started on the essays, here are some essays analyses. To be clear these analyses are in no particular order of preference. Go with the one that you are most comfortable with.
If someone comes across any other useful analysis, do post it (or PM me the link and I can include it in this post).
Finally, I'd like to add this, in case you do refer multiple sources for an essay anaylsis (as I do), and sometimes get potentially conflicting information (such as what to do about the optional essay), I'd say, use your own judgement, after all its your application!!!
It’s mid-July and there’s so much I’m excited about. I’ll share my Top 4 right now: Our Fall 2015 application is live! Three things you should do now: study for the GMAT, if you haven’t already taken it. Think about topics for your two essay questions and outline the key points/insights you want to share. Identify (and ask) your one recommender for the Ross application. Take a look at the recommender questions to determine who would be best to answer those questions. The team is hitting the road this week to begin meeting potential Rossers. In most cities, we’ll be...

FROM Ross (Michigan) Admissions Blog by Soojin Kwon:
Next to our admitted student weekend, my favorite day of the year has to be the first day of orientation. That’s when we finally get to see the whole class: 450 students embarking on their Ross MBA journey together. I could easily have mistaken many of the new students for MBA2s as we’ve seen them multiple times over the past year – at our admitted student weekend, team exercises, and recruiting events on the road. It almost felt more like a reunion than an orientation, not just for the team, but for the incoming students. The connections and community-building among...

Just saw this on Ross's website: "Another thing that has me jazzed today is that we’re working towards a final agreement with a lender that could provide a no-cosigner loan to international students next year. We’ll have more information in the coming weeks." Fingers crossed! Here's the link to the webpage https://michiganross.umich.edu/admission ... e-day-year
In the Ross Application how are we supposed to answer this question : "Have you attended any Ross event or been in contact with a member of the Ross community in the past year? If so, please list event and location and/or contact name and association with Ross" If I have been in touch with Ross students or alum do I list them all over here?
