Hi everyone,
First of all I think this is the best place for anyone who wants to do gmat and do well on it, alot of good ppl helping each other. Thank you
Well, I have been studying for gmat for past 2.5 months. I took a practice powerprep 1 test back about 2 months ago and got a disappointing 420. That score was actually with zero practice, just studied kaplan and princeton books. Anyways, since then I have been studying or trying to...
Today I did kaplan test 1 and once again got a disappointing 500 on it. I have a date booked for March 27 but it seems that I wouldn't be prepared by that time, I am planning to postpone it and start studying again. The sad thing about this situation is that I will miss deadlines (May 1st) for the universities I want to apply to but seems like I do not have a choice. I'll prob have to wait till the winter term.
Anyways, I would like your input as to what I should do to improve my score, my goal is btw 650-700. How many months I should put aside to study, and what should be the study routine, how many hours per day? I work fulltime so I don't get much time during the weekdays, however I try to study whenever I can. My main weakness seems to be time, I am a slow reader and it takes me time to think about a problem or in case on verbal Q's I have to read Q's couple of times.
What type of material would you suggest, I am planning to get
OG 11th ed. What else I should get?
I know I have alot of questions, and I apologize for the long post, but I would appreciate any help.
Thank you.
