rhyme why do you need consent from the adcoms to share your essays???
I'd say just share them. I, for one, am eager to read them.

Of course you'd say that - but I dont want to take on any uneccessary risks - hence why I'd seek their permission first.

In general, if anyone needs help with Cornell R2's let me know.

Rhyme

You got admission to a great school..no doubt abt that..many of us would kill to get admission into any top 15 school...But looking back, how was the admission process...2 Essays and a Quick turn around.... Did they really look into the essays or selected on the basis of GMAT/GPA/work-ex/Intn'l work-ex/Diversity etc? In Chicago/Wharton, Every Application is ready by 6 different people ..did Johnson put enough effort to recruit the best application or just selected on mere stats ?

what do u think

cheers

Rhyme,
Congratulations! Your wait, at least for Cornell, is over. It's great to see news coming in on accepts. You're probably most excited about GSB - and hopefully that one works out as well!

A difficult question because I dont know how many people read my application. Overall, I found Cornell the least organized of the schools I applied to - multiple invites to Park (despite being ineligible and the data indicating as much is freely avaliable on my app) and of course, there's something to be said about finding out via a Fedex notice.

That being said, I do think they looked at my whole app carefully, if it were meerly a question of GMAT or GPA I think I would have been invited to interview earlier - keep in mind, I was one of the last to hear on this site (in fact, I might have been the last).

I had some damn good essays and got called for an interview very quickly... if I didn't get in I would say my interviewer didn't like my performance.

Mark, visit https://www.johnson.cornell.edu/newstudents/ and click on one of those. Enter your id and password(should be the same as the application). If you get in, it means you are admited. Check it out.

Click on the enrollment forms and then try to enter your log in info. If they updated your admitt status, it should work. I can log in.

I logged onto the enrollment commitment form as well, and I'm an R2er.
