Cornell has good strong Wall st ties.
Wharton is arguably stronger than chicago when it comes to finance.
Chicago is a great choice
Northwestern is KNOWN for marketing, but this doesnt make it a marketing school....

Also, are you local to chicago ? IF not, there are some challenges with your plan that you should be aware of. If so, we should have a beer :)

What challenges do you speak of? I'm not in chicago now, but was there last year and i'm anxious to get back - wouldn't mind ending up there after school.

Well, there's several.

For instance, Chicago doesn't let you apply part time unless you have a job in Chicago or a letter from your employer stating that you can transfer to Chicago.

Equally, they don't let you, without a letter from your current employer, partake in all the recruiting that FTers get.

On a more general level, the argument around FT vs PT generally resides in terms of - if you are looking to switch careers, go FT, if you want to network, go FT, if you have hte money go FT. If you are just getting your MBA to move up in your current job, go PT or FT.
