I'm interested in PhD in Marketing. I'm from Russia.
My credentials:
1) GMAT 710
2) GPA = 4.0 with honors
3) 12 conference proceedings in Russia and 2 publications
4) work for 5 years as marketing analyst
5) awards - the best student of the department, fellowships.
Schools of what level do I have a good chance to get into?

Quantitatively, your profile seems good - although your GMAT may be at the edge depending on the schools that you are targeting?

Are your papers in the top journals? How strong are your recommendations?

No, they are not. Not the top journals in Russia.
Recommendations will be strong, really strong as I was the best student of the department, took part in all conferences, etc. But my university is an average Russian one, second-tier.
The question is the following: do I have chances to get into top 50 or not? I'm not aiming for top 25.

Do you have a Master's degree? If so, your chance is high for top50, I think. Otherwise, you should better get a Master first as it's pretty tough for undergrad applicants to get admitted to top50. Besides, it's kinda late for you to apply for Fall 2007 admissions.

How is the score distribution of your GMAT ?
