I am not able to understand that, I found here score value is given in absolute value and %age is given for %age of test taker. So I tried for mean median etc. for eg. Day1 0-25% test taker obtained 40-55 marks and 25-50% test taker got 62-70 marks, 50-75% test taker got 55-62 marks and 75-100% test taker got 70-80 marks. I followed this and calculate median. lastly I couldn't understand the given data. kindly elaborate, however lastly after a no. of attempt and I got solution, but in exam time how it would possible to solve in 2 minutes. if once clear median and mean can't be calculated then it is possible otherwise how to deal with such type of question????

But here in the Question, we are only given % of score. But we need to keep in mind that the total number of scores (participant with different or same scores) can be different on different days and that will affect the Mean and the median.
Let's assume on Day 1, 10000 people participated. So the 25% of 100 is 2500 = People who got score 70-80 Now, if on Day 2, the total no. of people were 100, then only 25 people scored 80-90. So in that case mean will be closer to Day 1. Also, we do not know exactly how many of them scored 80 or 90. Since we don't have data regarding the number of total participant scores in each day, it will be hard for us to calculate either mean or median. Hope, this helps.
The graph provides enough information to determine that the (blank) over all of the days indicated in the graph is the same as that for (blank) combined.
The answer seems illogical since we are thinking along the terms that the ranges of day 2 and day 5 are not matching. But that is not what has been asked. If we carefully look at the question wording, it is asking us to figure out for the entire set- day1 through 8, the mean, median or range. And then determine which two days combined together have a similar mean, median or range. Since percentages are given we cannot find out the mean or median of the entire set, which leaves us with the range. The range of the entire set is the highest score - the least score from the entire set which is seen on day 2 for the highest and day 5 for the lowest. Which would be the same for both these days combined.
I think the entire GMAT exam is like that, just one word here and there and voila ! the answer changes drastically. It's just about manipulating the words rather than actual fundamental concept.

It looks like all the OG or Official questions are more about the language than the knowledge. It's more of a trickery than anything else.

The median is the middle value, the point where 50% of the data fall below and 50% above. From the graph, we can identify the median for each individual day as the boundary line between the 25%–50% quartile (white) and the 50%–75% quartile (light blue), since that marks the 50th percentile. However, we cannot determine the overall median across all eight days because we do not know how many tests were taken on each day, and that information is needed to locate the two middle values among all scores combined.
Why is the second blank Days 2 and 5 and not 4 and 5 when we are selecting the range.
So Range = Max - Min And Day 4 Max is 70 and Min is 30 so range is 40, similarly day 5 max is 60 and min is 20 and again the range is 20.
So shouldnt the answer be Day 4 & 5 and not 2 & 5.

The range over all of the days is 70. Because 70 is the difference between the largest value, which is 90 from Day 2, and the smallest value, which is 20 from Day 5. So the difference is 70.
When you say Day 4 and 5, the smallest between them is from Day 5 (20), and the largest is from Day 4 (70). The difference is 50. But 50 doesn’t equal the overall range of 70.
However, if we check the correct answer, Day 2 and 5, the smallest is from Day 5 (20) and the largest is from Day 2 (90). That gives 70, which matches the overall biggest and smallest.
