I am working as train operator in Delhi metro rail corporation, central government. How much score in safe for me with 12 years of experience?

IIMB’s average GMAT score was 690 (GMAT classic) which is equivalent to 635 in GMAT FE. Target something similar for securing admissions.

By the time i join my classes in 2025 it will be 3+ years of experience

Is this work experience decent to get into IIMB for MBA?
Also can i apply with GMAT Score instead of CAT scores?
what are the timelines?

You need minimum 5 years of full time work ex by 31st Mar 2025. Also the EPGP program accepts only the GMAT scores and not the CAT scores.

You have a strong profile for IIMB’s EPGP (1 year) program. The avg GMAT score last year was 690 (GMAT original) which is equivalent to 635 in FE GMAT. Target a similar score, although a few points lower will also work in your case. With 6+ years of experience, you are not an ideal candidate for the 2 year program (Most applicants in that batch have 0-3 years of experience); hence i would suggest the 1 year program for you.
You have varied experiences and a comprehensive story in your application and SOP will be essential for you to crack IIMB. PM if you need any assistance for the same.

✓ I have completed my B.Tech in 5 years (because I had supplementary in 7th semester). Will it be a problem while taking admission to IIM one year program?

✓ My acads - 87% (Class 10), 83% (Class 12) , 6.99/10 (B.Tech, Tier 2).

✓ Though I completed B.Tech in 2010-2015, but I completed my 2 years MBA from Tier 2 MBA College on 2014-16. I submitted my B.Tech Result to MBA college after some days of starting the MBA course upon requesting them. Should I show my MBA degree to IIM Panel or justify the whole saga ?

✓ My GMAT is scheduled at 2nd October, Does IIM takes similar numbers of students in each round? Should I apply for R2 or R3? I will get very less time in that case if I apply for R2. My GMAT FE Mock Scores range is 655-665

✓ My professional career - Presently am Program Manager of Electronics Manufacturing Company, I worked with major IT firm as Business Consultant for 4 years, before that I worked with consumer insights firm as research manager.

✓ Extracurricular - Placement coordinator for both B.Tech and MBA college and was volunteer for Red cross several times to many places at the time for natural calamities

✓ Have CSPO certification

Hi, there are challenges in your profile but all of this can be explained with a strong storyline and an impeccable essay/SOP. I would suggest you apply in R2 and spend considerable time on your application and essays. I would not suggest that you lie on your application as it can be easily caught by the admissions commitee.
