These vary by schools as they have different approaches to applications and review process. Since Stanford releases a handful of invites each week, I am guessing it is a pretty high ratio as they are able to review the profiles in detail vs. other schools that spend 3 weeks and release hundreds or maybe even thousands of invites without having reviewed the profiles carefully.

Hi there my client did last Thursday but it’s not like admit calls for some schools where things are done based on location I don’t think.

It’s still very early- try to keep your mind occupied with preparing for the interviews that will definitely come your way or R2 applications or something to keep you in a positive mindspace.

The application volume has gone up 20% YoY, just like at Wharton. GSB app volume went up to 7,322 from 6,190

Otherwise, not much new there - the GRE score went down by 1. GMAT stayed the same. WE and GPA largely unchanged.

So either the acceptance rate is decreasing or the yield rate is decreasing compared to last year. Probably a combination of both. When will schools announce the acceptance rate vs the enrollment # and enrollment rate?
