Hi everyone , I would really appreciate if anybody could advise me on this : in July I resigned from my job to establish my own business and to devote more time for volunteering in my target industry as my post mba target industry is consultant. Im confused about what to write on Cambridge job essays which explicitly mention that we have to write our roles and responsibilities at current company. Do i write about my previous job role from which I resigned and give a brief description of what I’m doing now or do i write only about my previous job description? I’d be really grateful for any kind of advise regarding this.

There’s a bigger question for you to consider. You started your own business in July / Aug and are applying for MBA in Sep/Oct. Your story (motivation for an MBA education) is unlikely to stack up well.

Anyone already submitted their application for R1 deadline? I have checked multiple times that I uploaded all the documents (CV, degree, test scores, LOR), but is there any way to check the document status (other than LOR) post-submission, whether they arrive safely?

You will be able to show barely 2-3 months of your small scale business experience in R1, or 5-6 months in R2. That’s not enough for any audience to conclude anything.

Re essays, the only way to approach them is first doing deep introspection, digging out stories, weaving them all together into a cohesive journey that connects your past, present and future. There is no cookie-cutter approach to doing this. Engage an admissions consultant, if you need and haven’t yet.

­Yes, your application will be considered, but only the vote you actually get matters e.g. they will consider the new vote only when it is confirmed by GMAC. My suggestion is to wait for the best score before applying.

­Yes, once you apply they'll start evaluating your profile according to their timelines, if you're able to provide a new score by that time they'll just add that to your file

Is it compulsory to use Cambridge Judge's suggested CV format for the MBA application, or is it just a guidance? Also, how difficult are chances for an MBA applicant in R2 compared to R1 for Cambridge, given I am an Indian Engineer Male.

­I think it won't really matter, you can round the number up or down as you like as in any case you're above their job experience requirement.­

­Yes it's compulsory, also since I'm starting the program next week I can confirm you that is the only CV format they'll accept for all following career events. Providing another format only means you'll have to do additional rework in a few months shall you get admitted.
