What are the LoR prompts for 2024 intake?

gautamgambhir - the LoR prompts are technically meant to be seen only by recommenders

Last year's prompts (from our record) are pasted below. Can check the updated ones (if any have been changed) shortly. The ratings pertaining to #1 would be across dimensions such as leadership skills, analytical ability, team-oriented, etc.

1. Elaborate on your ratings you have given the candidate above.
2. How long you have known the candidate and in what capacity?
3. What are their strengths and weaknesses?
4. How you think the candidate would benefit from the programme.

Hi guys, I would like to get my chances rated at Said Business School. I am a student in my last year of undergrad and I am planning on applying for MFE program (2024 fall intake) at Saïd.

Background and nationality:- Bachelors in Accounting and finance undergraduate, Indian
Gpa:- 9.30/10.00 (first and second year)
GMAT/GRE:- I will give GMAT in September

Work experience and leadership:- held various leadership roles like being vice president of a college club, I was also very active in my second year as HOD for three clubs and total work experience is about 1.5 years (purely internships only)

I am also an alumni of University of Oxford, I was a visiting scholar at St. Catherines College, awarded the prestigious Betty and Donald Keating Scholarship by St Catherines (one of the two candidates selected from all over India) , I am also submitting a project for COP 28 and my last essay which I wrote for my last tutorial (subject: fintech) in Oxford is in talks to get published @TheConversation

Are there any essays in Said this year other than the personal statement? I could not find any essays under the Essays Section in the application

I don’t think so. Its just the personal statement and maybe some extra essays for scholarhips.

Has anyone submitted the Kira questions this year? Any insights on what to expect regarding the nature of the questions?

I read the the first 2 prompts are the same for everyone?

Is somebody aware of Oxford’s Said MBA payment schedule? Does anyone know the details as to when and around how much is due? Other European MBAs (such as INSEAD) have a payment schedule with 3 instalments due throughout the year.

Does anyone have more information about the Kira assessment? How long are we expected to speak on each question?

Hi, do we have any format available for the letter that has to submitted in view of English Test waiver? "As evidence we require a letter written by the applicant which outlines the extent of your professional experience in English. This must include specific examples that cover the core components of speaking, reading, writing, and listening."

Did you check the questions from previous years?

I checked with their Adcom there is no paticular fomrat / Just follow general letter writing rules
