Is there still hope? Are people still getting GSB invites?

Last year they sent out invitations until mid November according to ClearAdmit.
They also stated about the timeline in their email: "As promised, we began issuing interview invitations in late September and will continue through mid-November.
Interview invitations will be sent via email.
If you have not received an interview invitation by mid-November, you will not be admitted."

I have studied from Delhi University and a Chartered Accountant in India. Is there a need for TOEFL or any letter from institution for confirmation on english proficiency?

I have studied from Delhi University and a Chartered Accountant in India. Is there a need for TOEFL or any letter from institution for confirmation on english proficiency?

I saw this everywhere. From the application requirements section: if the mode of instruction from your institution was English or so the transcripts say, then you need not require an IELTS/TOEFL. I believe UCLA/UC Berkeley were the only two in top 15-20 that ask for it.

When applying to HBS & Stanford, it’s best to keep your expectations to zero. (Although there are some profiles that I see and tell are Stanford personality but it’s once in a blue 🔵 moon 🌚)

Yet to see a Harvard Personality though.

Oh yeah, that reminds me, if any of you is applying to Harvard in R2 this year, MBA Conquerors is creating a 4.0 just for Harvard given it’s deviation from traditional application process. Under that we’re taking a select few candidate in our feedback group and take their opinions on the experience and they get the MBA Conquerors services + Harvard add-ons free.


People will say, "Hey! So does Stanford!! It deviates from the norm too!"

Right back at ya, and way ahead, conducted that last year already and we have a 3.0 (Stanford Studs- for the changemakers!!) already running (this one is paid though). Helps when you have personal affiliation.


Let me know if anyone’s willing to join, we still have slots until 20th Nov!

Pretty much how we started 1.0 when I was a moderator here.

Hey @Aspirant13 ,

You may be exempt from the TOEFL if your undergraduate degree from Delhi University and Chartered Accountant qualification were both in English but you might need to provide a proof/ letter from your institution confirming this. It’s best to check with Stanford’s admissions office to confirm if any proof is required.

Based on the previous year’s trends, I think they will call all the admits on Dec 4th, and the Waitlists/dings will be notified on Dec 5th.

Hi there!
I interviewed for R1 and am now in the post-interview pre-decision stage.
I received a promotion from work (MBB strategy consulting) two days ago and am considering writing a few paragraphs and uploading the document to the 'New Information' section of the portal (and maybe also an email to AdComs?).
Has anyone done this before? How should I structure the document? What is advised to be included?

FYI: My responsibilities do not change much, just a more standalone, senior strategy consultant.
I would appreciate any advice, thank you so much!
