I wanted to know what practice exams everyone is using. I've done the following -
4 Kaplan exams
6 Manhattan GMAT
2 powerprep
3 800 score
2 princeton review

I am looking for more practice exams that are harder and can simulate the real GMAT exam better. I have just a few weeks.
Any suggestions?

There is GMAT simulator at catprep.com. They sell 5 exams for $45. I don't know how accurate they are though. I took 2 exams from there and seems like they tend to score really harsh. For example, I have been scoring consistently about 48-50 Q on GMATprep and Manhattan CAT, but on the simulator, my quant score was only 43.

take the GMATPrep... nothing will simulate it better than GMATPrep.

MGMAT is supposed to be pretty close too. Powerprep has to be pretty good at simulating the exam too, even though it is 'old'

I heard Kaplan was very bad, and PR is decent, though I disagree with a lot of their verbal answers, and their math is very very easy. Not the best indicator in my opinion.

Manhattan is good because the verbal is similar, and the math is super hard (so that OG/GMATPrep looks super easy after you go through a few Manhattan tests!)

Manhattan seems to be the next best after GMATPrep. However, i think previous GMAT paper tests and Powerprep are still very good in terms of quality of questions.

I have never heard of catprep.com...I wouldn't go with unknown tests at all. There are plenty of reliable tests out there. Best ones I used were official tests and Princeton Review.

Power Prep is the old version of GMATPrep, when ETS still made the tests for GMAC. I heard it was similar but slightly easier, but the scores I've seen are still pretty reflective of your final score.

thanks kryzak!!!! i've been searching for these for a while. so you believe these powerprep tests to be easier? both verbal and math? let me know because i have taken the two GMAT prep tests and need a couple more accurate practice tests.

I found the math to be pretty easy. I missed only 2 questions and got a Q50. Then again, I got Q50 on the GMATPrep1 test too. I did finish the PowerPrep Math 5-10 minutes early, where the GMATPrep I finished just on time.

I think the PowerPrep Verbal is trickier, and I've made a lot of stupid errors by picking the wrong answer in CR/RC. SC really had a lot of idioms, more than I remembered in GMATPrep.
