Ya, a weekday. I plan to hit Berkeley on October 22nd and Stanford the 23rd, then down to UCLA (via plane) for the 24th. I'd like to come earlier, but my boss has already been pretty understanding allowing me to take off for 3 weeks in September and then for another week + a day only 3 weeks later.
Thanks for the transit advice. 2.5 hours of public transit sucks, but it'll give me some time to write down my thoughts on Berkeley and think about ways to shoe horn stuff into my already cramped essays.

i visited stanford and berkeley in may...considered taking mass transit but like kryzak said it would take way too much time. ended up driving it instead...parking in berkeley was a pain though.
