I am planning to pack ~5 schools in a span of 3 days !!

MIT (registered)/Harvard - Sep17th

Will try to squeeze Columbia on the same day (a 3.5 hr drive from Boston). Probably will skip Harvard for CBS.

Wharton - 18th
Ross - 19th (registered)

Hmm its going to be a packed 3 days !

what do you plan on doing at wharton? i want to visit in sept, but the website says class visits dont happen until oct.

Classes have started, so if you do know a current student it may be possible to sit in on a class.

I think squeezing MIT and Columbia is going to be difficult. You are assuming that you will spend enough morning-noon time in MIT, be able to cover the distance between Boston and NYC and still reach Columbia in time to make the trip worthwhile. I highly doubt that. ps You won't have the energy to do much at Columbia after the tiring day spent at MIT and the driving.

Precisely !
The program in MIT gets over by 1pm. So assuming I leave board around 1:30ish and account for traffic, I should reach NYC by 6, to catch the 6:30 info session.
The ideal plan would have been to visit Columbia the next day, but unfortunately CBS has its on campus infosessions only on Mondays and Fridays.
But again, I am attending the Sep 5th CBS session in the bay - so thinking of skipping Columbia for HBS.

I so envy the East coast people !!

True ! in fact they have a session on the 20th of Sep if you are interested.
Nevertheless, I am planning to visit the Adcom for their 3pm infosession, meet some random students in the campus and tag along for a class visit :) My entire point is to let the AdCom to know that I was there and guage as much of the campus vibe as possible.
