About a week and a half ago I scored a 720. I was kinda down about it b/c I had seen so many of the math problems before and the ones I didn't see b/f I got a lot of em wrong... ouch, but I can't get too upset, they were some of the harder probs since I got into Q50 material.
Yesterday score of 740. Much happier about this score although still ticked about somethings in the quant. With the exception of one problem, I knew how to do every single one. I count exactly 4 repeats. I missed 2 of the repeats so that has actually boosted my confidence b/c my score has not been too artificially inflated. I also figure I may have really gotten the ones I saw before correct anyway.
Also another thing, there was one really easy problem like this (3^-2)^-3 =??? answer was 3^6 obviously. However, I accidently hit 3^5 b/c the comp i was using had a ridiculously small screen and it was so hard to see which was 3^6 that i just made a silly error.
O ya the last question was one I had seen before, but forgot the answer. So I worked it out etc... then clicked the answer..., didn't register it so I didn't even get a guess, so I thought owell... ended up w/ a Q47.
Verbal was great, I felt spot on. Saw no repeat SC's. 2 repeat CR's. 2 RC's were repeats, but I still had to spend the usual amount of time reading these psgs and understanding them. I didn't see these from a previous test but rather from
OG, which I reviewed a long time ago.
So Im feelin pretty good for my next retake of the real GMAT. 740??? haha prolly not but who knows, stress has kinda gone away and I feel more relaxed this time.
