If we have statements alone we will have:

1) rst=(rs)t=t, so t=1 ==> rst=1, but t<>1 ==> rst<>1. INSUFF.
1) rst=r(st)=t, so r=1 ==> rst=1, but r<>1 ==> rst<>1. INSUFF.

Is rst = 1?

1. rs = 1

2. st = 1

whats so hard about it?

1. RS = 1
both are negative 1 OR both are positive 1
no info on T
T can be 0 or 9999

2. same logic as 1

taken together, s is negative 1 or positive 1, the other variables are also undefined.

in addition, the equation did not say they were integers. statement 1 could be 1/9 * 9. basically, there are infinite ways to make rs = 1 or any of the variables
