Am I really F*!##@d up

It kinda happened to me as well once I finished up with Stern - I guess us IT types *could* be made to enjoy the softer skills in life.

Ask those who have no admit so far and are wondering if they would have the courage to apply next year. Ask them how much they miss essay-writing .. something that they may have to do all over again. Show offs !!

I felt so empty after pressing Submit on Chicago. My final and only application for this round...

Truly, waiting is the worst part and after you submit your last app, there's nothing to do but wait.

I havent worried about apps since November...now I am working on financial aid forms.

I've got zero admits and I'm game to apply again next year. I can think of several improvements I can make in my essays.

I don't miss them...any free time has been filled trying to make up work when I was slacking putting together my essays.

Same here... and I just wrote 2 sets...

But there are so many nice things to do while we have time for them: fill up GMATclub wiki with lots of useful information, read a good book, research your future career ways (companies, industries, countries), do some sport. I'm devoting time after admission into snowboarding, learning Spanish and looking for an apartment in AA And in summer there is a plan to try kitesurfing as it could be a good option for vacations.

The 3 days after I submitted Stanford's set were weird, but now I’m reading again, sleeping again (Rhyme's advice), I'm jogging, hanging-out with my friends. Putting all in short words: living again. I really don’t miss the application process, although the whole process has made me know myself at a level that I really didn’t know.

well, when I say I miss the process its not that I want to go through it again. It's just that after pouring every minute of the last few months on the process, there is a sudden emptiness in my schedule. I am not complaining. In fact, I am making up for some lost time with my family, but still sometimes I look back at the application season and fondly remember "those days". I think GMATClub is to a large extent responsible for this. Soon, the class of 2011 will run amok on this board and we 2010ers will be old news. Having spent countless hours on the board chatting with many many fellow clubbers, there is a touch of regret that we are past those us vs ad-com moments of support and camraderie.

I was lost the 1st week after my apps were all done, with too much time on my hands. Instead of getting back into old habits - I've tried to put my new found time to better use. Ie , catching up at work, volunteering, reminding friends that I'm alive and still do live in the same city, rediscovering the joy of a tall scotch on a winter evening, etc.

Have a kid.. That will fill your schedule up no-end... up at 3am this week again!!!

I already have one. I dont think I can handle another, at least for a few more years.

fill your time up interacting... i suspect there will be less chances at b-school. So its a good time to be involved in their gorwing up
